United States of America Visa Processing

An authorization (electronic visa) ESTA must be applied for before departure.

• Australian passport holders travelling as a tourist, business or transit can stay for a maximum of 90 days on the ESTA (this includes time spent in Mexico/Canada)
  
• You must apply for the ESTA at least 72 hours before travel and receive confirmation before departure.
  
• Once a US ESTA is issued it is valid for 2 years or until your passport expires (whichever is sooner) and will allow multiple entries into the US.
